There are some great restaurants in the area. Our guests rave about Simply Indian, the Chokdee Thai restaurant which are situated on Motueka’s High Street within easy strolling distance from the motel. A short drive away there is Hooked on Marahau and The Apple Shed Café & Bar, both of which have received great reviews from our guests. There are plenty of wonderful restaurants to choose from no matter what your tastes.

Motueka has heaps of fun activities and events for all visitors and locals alike! You can be a participant or you can just have a fun day out watching and supporting. There are summer raft and boat races which are always lots of laughs and fun for the whole family to enter or watch. Also, there are exciting Mountain Bike challenges , if you are up to it!

We are a hot-bed of artistic talent here in Motueka, so our  local summer, spring and autumn fairs and food events such as the Motueka Kai Fest are very popular and really add to the holiday atmosphere that our town is known for.
